About the Cowgirl

Can I have a pony, please? Lynn Hendrickson grew up in heart of the Virginia horse country. Active in 4-H, Pony Club and the Blue Ridge Hunt, she spent most of her time riding horses and hanging out in barns. Now fast forward 20+ years, Lynn's priorities changed and the responsibilities that accompany adulthood took over her life. Then one day, a friend invited her to go on a trail ride. From that moment on, Lynn realized just how much she missed being around horses and riding. Selling her motorcycle and getting a horse became a priority. That following year Lynn, and her very patient husband Bob, purchased a home surrounded by over grown hay fields in Richmond, Maine. Soon a barn, paddocks, fencing and a riding ring were being put in place. Stalls were filling with horses and the smell of fresh hay was lingering in the air. Riding, once again, became a part of her daily routine. Lynn had found her inner cowgirl. Lynn's unique approach to riding will enable you to find your inner cowgirl (or cowboy) and get the most from your riding experience.
